Thanks for sharing the pics! But, for us landlubbers, what’s a “dodger”?
BTW, started the Tacoma yesterday – kicked right off!
The dodger is the big protector thing over our hatch that keeps the wind and water (rain, waves) off of us in the cockpit. It’s made of canvas and has windows. You know what I’m talking about?
Yep, I know exactly now! Just didn’t know what it was called when we were helping out back in the Spring.
Great pictures! Love the one with Leo n jake! The last one had me cracking up!
Its a good one right? I’ve been trying to take pictures that give you a sense of what we’re doing, not just pretty ones! Those dudes were nuts. Some friends of ours said that they pulled up right next to them and started shooting at birds in the sky. Crazy.
Hey guys, been following your blog for a while now. I was wondering what your plans are for the trek thru Florida?
We are sitting here stressing about making our way through Georgia! We have no idea what Florida will bring! Do you have any recommendations? We truly only plan day to day because things change and happen so quickly. Thanks for reading, Ryan!
Well, I live and sail out of a place called Dragon Point. Not a bad little anchorage near the Eau Gallie causeway. Theres a few nice places to eat, a little art district, west marine is nearby, groceries within walking distance. Be happy to lend a hand if you’re in need.
That sounds amazing. I’ll write it on our charts so we don’t forget!
