It sure flew by, but here are a few pics of fun times on the ICW.
Us at The Salty Dawg in Lighthouse Point, FL.
Our friend, Marc. We met him in Staniel Cay and tracked him down again in Ft. Lauderdale. Good story, ask us about it ;)
We got a chance to take Leo to the vet for a few minor concerns. Isn’t he a good kitty? Mel and Chris from sv Vacilando recommended and drove us to Victoria Park Animal Hospital. A very, very, very nice place!
We celebrated our friend Stephen’s birthday in May at Quarterdeck in Ft. Lauderdale. These two have traveled all over the world by boat. Very. Cool. Folks.
Leo loved Bruno’s place in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He got lots of dock time!
My boos <3
I insisted that we re-visit North Palm Beach, FL so I could hit up Plato’s Closet again. Very cool, little thrift shop. I was feeling very coral this day!
Boo kitty and a winch.
This is us at the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. Obviously, we had been doing a little shopping :)
No matter where we are, JR will find the biggest ice cream. Always.
This is what I found when we hung out with Kim and Scott in West Palm Beach, FL. Only Kimmy would roll up to a Starbucks and order ice water. That’s why they’ve been cruisin’ for 9 years, I guess!
This little guy was eating the barnacles off of the floating dock in Vero Beach, FL. Look at those little teeth!
Jake handling lines at the Port Canaveral Barge Canal in Florida.
The Pelican in Fernandina Beach, FL gives folks at the downstairs bar free shots whenever a train rolls by. Amazingly great idea!
A gorgeous day in Georgia. See Journey’s mast?
A beautiful Georgia sunset in a lovely anchorage called Wally’s Leg.
This guy did not pay his fare!
Leo, straight chillin’ in the flat calm waters of Georgia.
A family pic in Georgia. Nothing else to do :)
Grayco, a very cool little store in Lady’s Island, SC, had all kinds of cute tresures like this one!
Leo, doing what Leo does at docks, in Lady’s Island, SC.
Chopping onions = Tuna, duh.
Route 501 bridge in Myrtle Beach, SC. We were supposed to see one of Jake’s dad’s buddies here, but we were too speedy that day. Imagine that! Ha!
Dodgin’ storms and finally using our foulies in South Carolina.
HA! Or on your blog, right? Found this treasure in Calabash, NC.
My handsome captain, Captaining in NC!
Me at Spike’s Ice Cream Shop in Southport, NC.
Sailing in the Cape Fear River, NC.
Me and Leo, driving to Broad Creek, NC.
The gorgeous anchorage in Broad Creek, NC. This was the morning we crossed to Ocracoke <3
We made it to Ocracoke. Amazing. You can kinda’ see the lighthouse sticking out of JR’s head. The smiles are legit, man.
